 Agencies: Federal agency securities.Shorthand market terminology for any obligation issued by a government-sponsored entity (GSE), or a federally related institution. Obligations of GSEs are not guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the US government. There are eight GSEs, five of which are currently Active in the new issue market.Federal agency securities.  Barrier: Is the threshold for an option feature to become Active or inactive depending on the specifications. It also refers to a variety of option which has a barrier feature.

 Broker: A broker brings buyers and sellers together for a commission paid by the initiator of the transaction or by both sides; he does not position. In the money market, brokers are Active in markets in which banks buy and sell money and in interdealer markets.(1) An individual or firm that charges a fee or commission for executing buy and sell orders submitted by another individual or firm. (2) The role of a firm when it acts as an agent for a customer and charges the customer a commission for its services.  Consortium banks: A merchant banking subsidiary set up by several banks that may or may not be of the same nationality.
